There are four different catagories: band, dance, vocal and overall.

Winners are chosen after Saturdays performance and are awarded a cash prize.

There are some rules you must follow if you try out or are a participant of the air guitar: A 5 minute time limit and the G.P.A. has to be 2.0 and higher for eligibility to be participant.
