Generation Green students attend a 10-day leadership camp with the U.S.D.A Forest Service at the California Expo State Fair to teach about fire safety. The purpose of this event enable the students to outreach to the publicand also learnabout the many career opportunities with in the U.S.D.A Forest Service
Benefits to Student
The California State Fair exhibit serves a unique educational experience for the participating students. Students teach children about the forest fire education and prevention actions. Students also enhanced their speaking skills and gain confedince throuughout the leadership camp. For the students time and contribution they will receive a tax-exempt salary.
Students Recurements
The students are required to wear a uniform while staffing the exhibits. Students will also be required to be on time, take responsibility, act in a professional manner while maintaining a daily log of their experience in Sacramento
