Generation Green Activities
RHS Activities
Generation Green is program from the California Consortium that was establish in 1995 by the United States Department of Agriculture and the Latino Community in Central California.
Generetion Green is made up of a group of 40 students. This program educats the public about the USDA Forest Service through various activities such as the annual Sacramento State Fair. Generetion Green members develeop booths and axhibits and have bilingual students give presentations in Spanish and Hmong (for those who do not speak English).
Extra Curricular

Generation Green participates in many natural activities all year long. Such as Wild Link, Rap Camp, Community Service, Reedley Fiesta, Making Spirits Bright, ext. Extra Curricular activities provide students with new experiences in wilderness and the great out doors. Students explore the wilderness, and to educate them on how important it is to preserve our natural resources.

Career Preparations

Generation Green students learn about the variety of jobs that era available in the forest. They also offer summer internships with in the U.S.D.A. Forest Service. The Caeer Preparation also helps students with college information and are assisted with there applications. Students are also helped with Scholarships information. There's a guess speakers from different careers giving information to student during the weekly meetings to help students chose their career goals.
