The Club's emphasis on higher education and strong encoragement not to give up have helped club members get through those sometimes difficult, transisitonal years. At their meetings the members discuss future plans, goals, and ways to get financial aid for College. They also learned that twice the language means twice the knowledge. To raise money, the club can run a car wash sometime in th fall. In the spring, they treat themselves by taking a trip up to the mountains with the Generation Green Club. The club will discover that being bilingual is something to be proud of and is a vital skill that will be in even greater demand in the the millennium. The club can go to trips like Fresno state University, or to Universal Studios Hollywood.
