"Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek but a means by      which we arrive at that goal."
- Martin Luther King, Jr.

Students for Peace has an offer for anyone who desires a peaceful life in a peaceful world: unite with us. Peace is more than an idea, it is an experience of unity in ourselves, with other people, with all life, with everything, everywhere. Together we will promote the experience of peace, share it with others, and work toward establishing and sustaining it in the world. Together we will create peace that permeates all of existence.
"It isn't enough to talk about peace, one must believe it.  And it isn't enough to to believe in it, one must work for it."
- Eleanor Roosevelt
“Students for Peace” is a club, which was formed in the year 2002 as a reactionary movement to various worldwide aggressions.

This club addresses current political, social and economic events. We intend to focus on major peace-threatening events as first priorities in order to attain worldwide peace, piece by piece.

Concerning ourselves with how these events affect not only ourselves and our community but societies around the world as well. Working toward a hate-free, anti-discriminatory, less stratified society consisting of dedicated peace loving individuals.

Donald Friesen

Students for Peace Club Advisor

"You can bomb the world into pieces, but you can't bomb it into peace."
-Michael Franti

“Student for Peace” is a channel for the youth to analyze worldwide events more objectively and to be able to voice their opinion on such events.

We realize the disproportionate odds against such a movement yet we refuse to be silenced.

Natalie Bachicha

Club President

"I was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there."
-Mother Teresa
Watching a video during one of the clubs weekly gatherings.
If there is to be peace in the world,
There must be peace in the nations.
If there is to be peace in the nations,
There must be peace in the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities,
There must be peace between neighbors.
If there is to be peace between neighbors,
There must be peace in the home.
If there is to be peace in the home,
There must be peace in the heart.
